Advanced Bioelectric Hair Restoration

HairCell is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive bioelectric stimulation system designed to restore and preserve scalp health while promoting long-term follicular regeneration. Using precisely tuned bioelectric signals, HairCell communicates directly with cellular pathways to “awaken” dormant follicles, stimulate growth factors, and reactivate the natural hair cycle.

The result is improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and revitalized follicles that produce thicker, healthier hair.

How HairCell Works

The HairCell device uses proprietary bioelectric signaling technology to stimulate the expression of 10 essential proteins involved in follicle anchoring, stem cell survival, and growth regulation. These proteins work together to restore a healthy scalp environment and support active hair regrowth.

Through a 30-minute treatment session, two small electrodes are placed on the scalp to deliver low-level bioelectric signals. These gentle impulses help increase microcirculation, enhance oxygen and nutrient delivery, and activate molecular longevity pathways associated with youthful hair function.

Each session supports the three pillars of follicular health:

  • Anchoring stem cells through COL17A1 and Laminin activation
  • Activating follicle cycling via Wnt/β-Catenin and SHH signaling
  • Supporting follicle survival with increased VEGF, IGF-1, and FGF7 expression

What Is Klotho?

Klotho is a naturally occurring protein often referred to as the “longevity protein.” It plays a critical role in cellular repair, oxidative stress regulation, and stem cell function. Research has shown that Klotho expression in hair follicles decreases with age, contributing to thinning and loss.

By reactivating Klotho expression through bioelectric signaling, HairCell helps extend the hair growth (anagen) phase, delay follicle aging, and support the survival of hair follicle stem cells. Clinical research has demonstrated that Klotho activation can increase hair shaft elongation and preserve follicular structure over time.

How Does Klotho Help With Hair Regrowth?

Klotho interacts with pathways such as Wnt/β-Catenin and PI3K/AKT/mTOR, both of which are essential for follicle regeneration. By reducing oxidative stress and delaying the onset of follicle regression (catagen), Klotho helps maintain a healthy environment for continuous hair growth.
