Dr. Kiya Movassaghi

Dr. Kiya Movassaghi is a Harvard-educated, Board-Certified plastic surgeon who has established himself as a leading figure in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. After 14 years in Boston completing his extensive medical and surgical training at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Movassaghi brought his exceptional expertise to Eugene, Oregon in 2002, where he has since built a distinguished practice.

A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Movassaghi completed his plastic surgery residency at the Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Program following his general surgery residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His educational background also includes a DMD from Harvard Dental School, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a maxillofacial surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Movassaghi’s professional standing is evidenced by his leadership roles, including his current position as President-Elect of The Aesthetic Society, following his tenure as Vice President. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University’s School of Medicine and directs an Aesthetic Society-endorsed fellowship program that trains future plastic surgeons.

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Movassaghi specializes in all aspects of plastic surgery, with particular expertise in facial rejuvenation, nasal surgery, breast surgery, and body contouring. He is well-versed in advanced techniques including laser and endoscopic procedures that minimize scarring.

Dr. Movassaghi has authored numerous scientific publications, including over 20 peer-reviewed articles, and is the editor of “Shaping the Breast: Optimizing Outcomes in Breast Augmentation.” As a traveling professor for The Aesthetic Society, he shares his expertise at residency programs and plastic surgery meetings nationwide.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Movassaghi is a 13-time winner of Eugene’s “Favorite Cosmetic Surgeon” award. When not in the operating room, he enjoys outdoor activities and competing in triathlons. Dr. Movassaghi resides in Eugene with his wife and two sons, where he continues to provide exceptional care with unwavering commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
