Dr. Katerina Gallus, MD, FACS – Medical Director

Dr. Katerina Gallus is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over a decade of experience in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. She is recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor and was named to its “Exceptional Women in Medicine” list in 2024.

A former Navy plastic surgeon, Dr. Gallus held senior leadership roles including Chair of Plastic Surgery and Specialty Leader for Navy Plastic Surgery. She is double board-certified in Plastic Surgery and General Surgery.

As founder of Restore SD Plastic Surgery in La Jolla, Dr. Gallus is known for combining advanced clinical techniques with a thoughtful, patient-centered approach. At GetHairMD Mission Valley, she oversees all treatment protocols and provides guidance on both non-invasive and surgical hair restoration options, including hair transplantation.

Leah Kirby – Clinic Director

Leah Kirby brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare and technology, with a focus on building and scaling patient-centered programs.

She is known for translating complex clinical and operational processes into clear, effective systems that improve both patient experience and outcomes. At GetHairMD Mission Valley, Leah leads clinic operations and patient experience, ensuring a seamless, supportive journey from initial consultation through treatment and long-term hair restoration results.

Leah also works closely with the broader GetHairMD organization to develop and refine the systems, workflows, and patient experience model that support consistent, high-quality care across locations.
